2023 China International Fair for Trade in Services Global Services Trade Summit

The 2023 Service Trade Fair has many highlights: First, it is high-level, launching major activities and authoritative reports. The Ministry of Commerce will hold a special promotion of the service industry during the "Invest in China Year", as well as summit forums such as the China E-Commerce Conference and the Development Trend of Trade in Services, and release a report on the development of China's trade in services. The second is internationalization and giving full play to the role of expanding open platform. Deepen cooperation with international organizations such as the three major supporting units of the Council for Trade in Services and hold a global summit on trade in services. International organizations such as the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, the World Intellectual Property Organization, and the World Meteorological Organization will set up exhibitions and conferences. The third is professionalization, striving to achieve high-performance results. Form an exhibitor association and focus on inviting the world's top 500 companies and industry leading companies to participate in the exhibition. The fourth is marketization to promote the sustainable development of the CIFTIS. Give full play to the advantages of the "public institution + enterprise group" operating model and promote the marketization process. Six of the nine thematic exhibitions have achieved marketization.

In terms of exhibitions, comprehensive exhibitions and special exhibitions will be held. The comprehensive exhibition will be located at the National Convention Center, and there will be an exhibition on the achievements of service trade and the expansion of opening up of the service industry, national exhibitions, provincial, regional, municipal, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan exhibitions, and annual theme areas. The UK, the guest country of honor, will form the largest service trade exhibition group since participating in the exhibition. 27 countries and international organizations will hold offline exhibitions in the name of their national governments or headquarters. Among them, 7 countries and international organizations, including Georgia, Sudan, and UNICEF, will hold offline exhibitions in the name of their national governments or headquarters for the first time. Shandong and Guizhou provinces in China are the main guest provinces. 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, 5 cities under separate state planning, Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions will continue to hold exhibitions. 1,868 companies including Intel, Tesla, Nestlé, and Bank of China participated in the exhibition offline and online, including 424 Fortune 500 companies and industry leading companies.
